My data story will be about climate change and recent extreme weather events. The two events I will be focusing on are the recent fires in California in the summer of 2018 and Hurricane Harvey in August and September of 2017. I will also be talking about the difference between climate change and global warming and public knowledge on the differences between these two terms. I hope to find out how knowledgeable the American public is on the topic of climate change, as well as how concerned they are about the subject.
